BOIS DORÉ by Van Cleef & Arpeels is an “Eau de Parfum” belonging to the gourmand olfactory family. In the Amazon forest, approximately 20 meters high, Brazilian teak produces the extraordinary tonka bean; in Bois Doré this is the main component. This seed, with a slight hint of tobacco, is as dark as burnt wood. It is a craftsmanship creation that perfectly blends its ingredients with wood and the brightness of gold. The final touch is given by musk and vanilla, which give this fragrance character and luminosity. “Like a real piece of precious gold, I wanted Bois Doré to combine wood with the brightness of a gold nugget…” Fabrice Pellegrin, perfumer.
